![]() ![]() ![]() Keynote will launch (if it isn’t active already) and open the file. To convert a PowerPoint presentation, just drop it on top of your Convert to Keynote application on the desktop. Choose File -> Save to save your workflow with the name Convert to Keynote to the desktop. From the Presentations library, drag the Close Keynote Presentation action to the workflow area. Finally, click on Actions at the top left of the Automator window to reveal the actions library again. Now drag the Keynoteconvert variable you created on to the Save To pop-up menu found in the Save Keynote Presentation action. In the Variable Options window that appears, enter a name for your variable- Keynoteconvert, for example-and enter (or copy and paste) this text in the Script field: tell application "Keynote" set thisName to the name of slideshow 1end tellset thisHFSPath to ((path to desktop folder) as string) & thisNameset thisPOSIXPath to the POSIX path of thisHFSPathreturn thisPOSIXPathĬlick Done to close the Variable Options window. Double-click on the AppleScript variable here. It will appear in a Variable area at the bottom of the workflow pane. Double-click on the AppleScript variable. Click the Variables button that appears in the top-left portion of your workflow area next to the Actions button. Now, select Presentations in the Library pane and drag the Save Keynote Presentations action to the workflow area. ![]()
